Web Browser Set-up on a Macintosh Computer

Follow this procedure to configure the Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 5.0 for Macintosh.

Launch Internet Explorer for Macintosh.
From the Toolbar, click Preferences.
Under the Web Browser, select Advanced. The Advanced Settings screen will be dis-
played as following.
In the Cache group box, set the Update pages option to Always by selecting the radio but-
ton.
If your network does not use a proxy server, then you can skip directly to step 8. if your
network does use a proxy server, then scroll down the Preferences list until you get to
the Network section. In this section, select Proxies to open the Proxy Configuration
screen.
