Install a copy of Web browser program on one or more computers. Both Microsoft and
Netscape offer their browsers for the download free of charge over the Internet. Browser
programs are available for Window , Apple/Macintosh , and Unix operating systems. The
Access Easy Controller can communicate with either the Netscape browser or the
Microsoft browser running under any of the standard operating systems (Windows,
Apple, or Unix).
Dedicate a new computer configured with a browser to work with Access Easy Control-
ler.
Configure the network to support static addresses. Customers should check with their IT
department or computer vendor. Most networks that are configured for Dynamic
Address Allocation will also support static addressing.
The customer can provide a non-networked computer to work with Access Easy Control-
ler. This computer will need to be configured for 10 MB Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol.
This computer can then be directly connected to the Access Easy Controller using the
crossover type cable.
