Once you have created and configured the new module, you can see the data tags created your Controller Tags
view as shown below in Figure 35. For example, if you populate bits 0 thru 3 in C.Data[0] with a "1"; by referencing
the chart in section Configuration Assembly on page 59, this data configures Pin 2 on each Port to be a digital
output.
Please note that RSLogix 5000, by default, creates an array tag of "SINT[400]" for the Configuration Assembly for
any Generic Ethernet Module. When the program is actually downloaded to the PLC processor and begins
communications with ConveyLinx-IO; the data exchanged will be the quantity of bytes entered when the module
was created. For ConveyLinx-IO this is Configuration Assembly Instance 128 with a size of 10 bytes as shown in
Figure 34.
