COS Option Single Ring For Single Line Sets Activated

Paging

Page Key Clears Intercom Call

38 N 02.10.09
In prior software versions, pressing CLEAR in step 4 would exit the procedure without properly
setting up the key.
The following Off-Hook Signaling programming for Intercom calls is available in software version
02.10.09. In prior software versions, you could enter additional non-functional options.
1802-Off-Hook Signaling For Intercom Calls
Set the extension's Off-Hook Signaling options for incoming Intercom calls. The only options
available are:
0 = No Off-Hook Signaling
1 = Call Wait beeps (Default setting)
3 = Voice Over
1802-Off-Hook Signaling for Hotline Calls
Set an extension's Off-Hook Signaling options for incoming Intercom calls from their Hotline part-
ner that were placed using the Hotline key. The only options available are:
0 = No Off-Hook Signaling
1 = Call Wait beeps (Default setting)
3 = Voice Over
The same enhancements were made to the #OHS User Programmable Feature as well. After an
option is selected, the second line of the display shows the selection chosen. This display is cleared
by pressing SPK to exit the user programming mode.
In addition, in software version 02.10.09 the default value for 1802-Off Hook Signaling For Hotline
Partners is 0 (no signaling). In prior software versions, the default value was 2 (Off-Hook Ringing).
Entry 2 is not valid for this option (i.e., Off-Hook Ringing for Hotline partners does not exist).
The option 0101 - Single Ring for Single Line Sets determines the type of ringing at analog single
line extensions. If enabled (Y), analog single line extensions always receive single ringing for trunk
calls. (Certain analog single line devices connected to the system may require this type of ringing.) If
disabled (N), trunk ringing at analog single line extensions follows the ringing pattern of the trunk.
For example, if a trunk is ringing the system with two ring bursts, the single line extensions will fol-
low the same ringing pattern.
In software versions prior to 02.10.09, this option could be set but was not functional.
If a keyset user on an Intercom call presses their Page key, the system disconnects the Intercom call
and activates the Page. In prior software versions, this sequence would place the Intercom call on
Hold. This could inadvertantly make the make the party on Intercom Hold unavailable.
