This feature applies to multiline voice terminals only.
System users with a Built-in-Speakerphone (BIS) voice terminal or another type of
multiline voice terminal with a Hands-Free Unit (HFU) can use SPEAKERPHONE
to place or answer calls without lifting the handset. These units provide two-way
communication (listen and talk).
Placing a Call
Without Lifting the Handset

Dial the telephone number.
When the other party answers, begin talking.
