Upgrading the System Firmware

To upgrade the system firmware, you need to have the following files. In addition, you need to use a
computer and USB cable.
• CE6000-lite_Vxxxx
• SEND.EXE
• OPS662
Preparation
Install the USB Driver software to your computer before upgrading the system firmware.
How to upgrade the system firmware
(1) Connect the computer and the CE LITE-50 via the USB interface.
(2) Connect the AC cable to the AC outlet while pressing the power button.
Release the power button when the following screen appears.
(3) Execute SEND.EXE to send firmware to the plotter from the computer.
Select the system firmware file from the SEND.EXE menu.
Select CE LITE-50 from the output menu. (Select the type of file to all files when select the firmware
file.)
(4) Output the system firmware file to the CE6000.
NOTE: Do not turn off the power during upgrading the firmware.
(5) When the operation panel is displayed as shown below, unplug the AC cable from the AC outlet.
(6) Leave more than 20 seconds, and then turn on the CE LITE-50.
(7) Confirm that the system firmware has been upgraded on the "Advance" in the menu screen.
