Only full–wire cables or litz wires with wire end ferrules may be used for the mo-
dule supply with 24 V DC (stripping length: 7 mm).

Only an extra–low voltage separated safely from the power supply may be used
for the 24 V DC module supply. Safety separation can be implemented for exam-
ple in accordance with the requirements in
VDE 0100 Part 410 ¢ HD 384-4-41 ¢ IEC 364-4-41
(as functional extra–low voltage with safety separation PELV) or in
VDE 0805 ¢ EN 60950 ¢ IEC 950
(as safety extra–low voltage SELV) or in
VDE 0106, Part 101.
Load Supply of the Digital Outputs
The 24 V DC load supply for the analog outputs is supplied by the AddFEM. The
24 V DC load supply for the digital outputs must be generated externally and fed
via the X7 connector.
