Behavior of the counting pulse / speed detection at interruption of the pul-
ses (e.g. through wire break)
A) Single–channel operation (without sense of rotation recognition)
(applies for 6DL3100–8AA/–8AB as from Version 7, all 6DL3100–8AC)
If no more counting pulses arrive, the frequency output is limited in accordance
with the period which has passed since the last detected pulse. The limit frequency
F results from the period T since the last pulse as follows F= 1/(T–dead_time) * 1,5
The dead time results from the cycle time of the detection and amounts to 0 to
max. 2 msec.
In practice the following limit frequencies result to which the output is reduced (in
as far as the original frequency measured before the pulses stopped was higher).
The value is set to 0 after 10 seconds. (Frequencies under 0.1 Hz are not detec-
ted).
