Specifies the frame of time the aiming pointer remains on after decoding a label, when in trigger
single mode. The range for this setting is from 1 to 255 seconds in 1-second increments.
Follow these instructions to set this feature:
1 Determine the desired setting.
2 Pad the result with leading zeroes to yield three digits. For example: 0 = 000, 5 = 005, 20 =
020, etc.
3 Go to
page 82
and scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode to enter Pro-
gramming Mode.
4 Scan the barcode: SELECT AIMING DURATION TIME SETTING.
5 Scan the appropriate three digits from the keypad in
duration which was determined in the steps above. You will hear a two-beep indication after
the last character.
If you make a mistake before the last character, scan the CANCEL barcode to
abort and not save the entry string. You can then start again at the beginning.
NOTE
6 Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE barcode to exit Programming Mode.
