4.6.1 Scan Mode

This mode is associated with typical handheld reader operation. Selects the scan operating mode
for the reader. The following selections are valid for all models:
Trigger Single: When the trigger is pulled, reading is activated until one of the following occurs:

Reading Active Time
has elapsed
- a label has been read
- the trigger is released
Trigger Hold Multiple: When the trigger is pulled, reading starts and the product scans until the
trigger is released or
Reading Active Time
Double Read Timeout
prevents undesired multiple reads of the same label while in this mode.
Trigger Pulse Multiple: When the trigger is pulled, continuous reading is activated until
Active Time
has elapsed or the trigger has been released and pulled again.

Flashing: The reader flashes on and off regardless of the trigger status. Flash rate is controlled by
