Abbott Laboratories
If the PLEX-ID SP requires service, contact your local Abbott
Molecular representative. Do not under any circumstances send the
protocol
instrument for service without prior contact. It is imperative to indicate
the fault and nature of the required service. This will ensure a faster
return of the instrument to the customer.
Check "Packing for service" on page 65. You will find instructions on
how to proceed before shipping the instrument for service.
Check that any necessary decontamination procedure has been carried
out before packing. Refer to "Decontamination procedure" on page 64.
Ensure that the return authorization number (RGA) is sent with the
instrument.
The Abbott Molecular technical service department will keep you up to
date with the progress of service and provide you with any further
details you might need, for example, on maintenance, serviceability,
troubleshooting and replacement.
