REAR SHOCK ABSORBER INSTALLATION

Read 1.2.1 carefully.
TORQUE WRENCH SETTINGS
Shock absorber to frame (1)
Shock absorber to linkages (2)
Linkages to frame (3)
•
Position the shock absorber inserting it from the
bottom.
•
Insert the top bolt of the shock absorber complete with
washer from the left-hand side.
•
Tighten the nut (1) on the opposite side.
•
Position the linkage to the shock absorber.
• Insert the shock absorber bottom bolt from the right-
hand side.
•
Tighten the nut (2) on the opposite side.
•
Locate the double connecting link to its seat in the
frame.
• Insert the link-to-frame mounting bolt complete with
washer from the left-hand side.
•
Tighten the nut (3) on the opposite side.
•
Remove the support between swinging arm and seat
subframe.
50 Nm (5.0 kgm)
25 Nm (2.5 kgm)
50 Nm (5.0 kgm)
