This section describes how to maintain the INVU Sensor Band™.

Cleaning the INVU Sensor Band™
Cleaning Before Use
Wipe the INVU Sensor Band™ with CaviWipes™ wipes or equivalent, removing all gel
residues. If an excessive amount of gel was applied on the sensor, wipe the excess gel
that overflows the cavity with CaviWipes™ wipes or equivalent.
Clean the INVU Sensor Band™ with a hospital-grade alcohol disinfectant spray.
Let the band parts air-dry for 10 min.
Wipe the band and sensors with a dry lint-free cloth.
Cleaning After Use
It is very important to clean the band immediately after completing a monitoring session.
Avoid accumulation and drying of gel on the band and its sensors.
Power OFF the band by a long press on the power button. (see "Powering OFF the INVU
Sensor Band™" on page 11).
Remove the band (see "Removing the INVU Sensor Band™" on page 28).
Detach the detachable sensors from their connectors.

Rinse the detached sensors with tap water until no residue of gel is left in the sensor's
cavity.
Let the detached sensors air-dry or use a dry lint-free cloth; then, reattach the sensors
to the band sockets (you should hear an attaching click sound).
Spray all plastic parts with an alcoholic based spray provided in the package and wipe
the spray using a dry lint-free cloth.
Spray the cables with alcoholic based spray provided in the package and wipe the spray
using a dry lint-free cloth.
Spray the outer side of the band with alcoholic based spray provided in the package for
full coverage, and wipe with a dry lint-free cloth.
