IGNITION COIL
• I G N I T I O N C O I L R E M O V A L
Remove the seat.
Remove the fuel tank.
Disconnect the wire.
Remove the coil.
• I G N I T I O N C O I L I N S P E C T I O N
3-point spark test. The coil is satisfactory if
the spark jumps across the gap greater than
6 mm (0.24 in.).
SPARK DISTANCE
AT LEAST 6 mm
(0.24 in.)
