TRANSMISSION/CRANKSHAFT
CRANKSHAFT INSTALLATION
Install the cam chain.
NOTE
Set the crank weight balancer as
shown.
Pass the cam chain between tensioner
pin and crank weight balancer.
Install while holding the chain between
cam chain guide insertion part and
crank weight balancer.
Install the cam chain tensioner arm w i t h the
slippery surface facing the chain.
NOTE
Install w i t h the " A " mark facing the
cylinder head.
Slide the crankshaft into the left crankcase
aligning the stud on the case w i t h the hole in
the bearing holder as shown.
Tighten the nut and five bolts.
TORQUE. 1.0—1.4 kg-m
( 7 . 2 - 1 0 . 1 ft-lb.)
