CM 1 8 5 T STEERING/FRONT WHEEL/FRONT SUSPENSION
Insert the seat pipe into the f o r k tube and
set the oil lock piece on the end of seat pipe.
Insert the parts into the fork slider and tighten
the socket bolt w i t h the 6 mm Allen wrench.
T O R Q U E : 1.8-2.3 kg-m ( 1 3 . 0 - 1 6 . 7 ft-lbs.)
NOTE
Apply locking agent to the socket bolt.
Install the oil seal in the t o p of the slider.
NOTE
Apply A T F to the oil seal and install
it w i t h the fork seal driver.
Fork seal is seated when the groove in
the slider is visible at the t o p of the seal.
Install the snap ring into the groove of the
f o r k slider w i t h snap ring pliers.
Fill the forks w i t h good quality A T F .
