To prevent the air from going into the Ink Cartridges,

remove the Ink Cartridges and insert the Dummy
Cartridges.
Do not remove the Ink Cartridge
more than necessary. Do not
place the Ink Cartridge with the
hole faced up.
These cause air to go into the
cartridge.
Disconnect the connector of the Motor Pump and the

connector of the Sensor Board.
Remove two screws for fixing the Pump in the figure.

If you drop the screw between Pump and
Motor, it sticks to the magnet and cannot be
taken out unless disassembling the Pump.
Disconnect the tube which is connected to the Ink

Cartridge from the Pump.
Then, wipe off the ink adhered to the Tube Joint.
When you remove the tube, the ink drips a
little.
