Using the Global Address Book

The Global Address Book has to be set up to retrieve E-mail address from a LDAP. The Global
Address Book works in a similar way to the Local Address Book, except you cannot add, edit
or delete users.

Load the originals and press the [E-mail] key.

To access the Global Address Book press the [Address Book] key and select [Global].

Begin to enter the E-mail address in the To: field.

when a few characters have been entered, press [Enter]. The machine will search for E-
mail addresses on the LDAP server which match the characters entered.
If you have not entered enough characters, a message displays requesting more
characters.
A list of E-mail addresses which match the characters entered displays.

Using the Navigation Keys, scroll through the list of addresses and find the correct
address. Then press [Enter].

Use [Add] to enter another address if required, the maximum number of addresses you
can enter is 10.

After entering all the addresses, select [Done] and press [Enter].

Enter the Sender's name and select other features as required.

Press [Start] to activate the job.
