Making Measurements
104
Please also refer to the documentation supplied with the
patchcord.
a For the user calibration select an electrical calibration as
made according to the procedure given in "Electrical
calibration for single-ended measurements" on page 85.
This calibration must have the same network analyzer
settings as you are using to measure your DUT.
This will only be used for the "user calibration"
measurements. Afterwards the LCA returns to the
original electrical calibration for the DUT measurements.
The currently used calibration is preselected.
b Select "Reduce IFBW for user calibration measurement" to
reduce noise on the user calibration data. The default
bandwidth reduction factor is set in the file
LCAConfig.xml.
c Click
to proceed.
d When asked whether you want to save the data
• If you can use this calibration data again, click
give your calibration data file a name, and save it.
If you want to save the complete LCA setup, make sure to
select "Also save the LCA Settings" . See "Saving and
Loading Setups" on page 71 for more information about
LCA setups.
• If you will have no need to reuse or refer to this
calibration data, click
