Paste the following information at the top of the file:
[Clips_WF]

5. Save the file and quit. Restart the Samba process using the following command:
Service smb restart
6. Login to the FastServe | PlayoutWebSettings and navigate to the WatchFolder tab. Restart the
WatchFolder.
7. To if the WatchFolder is mounted correctly, open the Windows Explorer and enter the Clips_WF
directory:
\\IP_of_FSP\Clips_WF
It should show the contents of the RAID on the local machine. If you copy a video file into
WatchFolder, then from Linux it should be visible under: /Clips.
Cd /Clips
Compare the Linux /Clips results with the Windows Clips_WF folder.

Verification of the WatchFolder Behavior

This topic describes how to check if the video clips are properly registered in the VideoEngine
database (VIDEO_ENGINE.db).
To check if video clips are correctly registered:
1. Make sure that all the components are up and running (VE, VECommander, VEWatchFolder).
2. Prepare video clips for testing.
3. Access the /Clips_WF directory via Samba (e.g. from the Windows Explorer):
