Reference

There is one Reference input and one Reference loop port located on the rear of the Avid FastServe |
Playout server.
If the server is the last device in your reference loop, terminate the remaining Ref Loop through a
connector with an 75 ohm-rated terminator.

Outputs SDI Connections

SDI connectors are linked to FastServe | Playout output channels. There are default settings but
outputs can be routed to other connectors using the FastServe | Playout WebSettings. Please see the
examples below to better understand the logic behind the routing.
Connecting 2 UHD outputs from FastServe | Playout
In the WebSettings > VideoEngine tab, look for a set of drop-down lists that allow you to set the
board and SDI connector to display the desired quarter of the UHD channel:
