9.1.5.5 To assemble the joint bearing in the
articulated steering
1. Lubricate the bearing seat and pin with grease that
prevents corrosion.
2. Carefully push the outer ring with a drift or a press
tool to attach the new bearing (A).
3. Attach a new snap ring (B).
4. Put the rear axle bearing on the pin.
5. Attach lockwasher (C), compression washer (B) and
screw (A). Tightening torque 85 Nm. Refer to
fasteners on page 19 .
Note: Make sure that the lockwasher is put correctly
on the pin before you attach the screw.
6. Attach the locknut (D). Tightening torque 47 Nm.
7. Assemble the link stay (A) with sleeve (B), screw
(C), washer (E). Tightening torque 47 Nm.
8. Attach the locknut (D). Tightening torque 24 Nm.

9. Lubricate the link stay through the grease nipples.
10. Assemble the steering cylinder (C) to the rear
bracket.
11. Assemble the locking pin (A) with the screw (B).
12. Attach the hydraulic hoses.
9.1.5.6 To lubricate the articulated steering joint
1. Lubricate the articulated steering bearing when the
product has all wheels on the ground.
2. Lift the product to release the pressure in the
articulated steering. The illustration shows where to
put the supports.
CAUTION: Make sure that the support does
not cause damage to the control stay or
causes a blockage of the articulated
steering.
3. Lubricate the articulated steering bearing again
while the product is lifted.
4. Lower the product.
