76 - Troubleshooting
Steps Troubleshooting
10
Measure the resistance of the relay. It must be 3.7-4.2 Ω.
11
Make sure the relay clicks when the key is turned to "Start".
12
Do a check of the parking brake microswitch.
13
Loosen connector J6 and measure the resistance between the or-
ange, gray and yellow pairs in the wire connectors. When the PTO
switch is pressed, must only the orange wires be connected.
When the PTO button is lifted, the orange wires must not be con-
nected but the other wires must be connected.

18
Do a check of the blue and yellow wires and connections going
from the parking brake microswitch.
19
Measure the voltage on the gray wire from J7 (pin 1) when the
start key is turned to "Start". The voltage in the wire must then be
12V.
20
Measure the voltage on J7 (pin 2) and J7 (pin 4). The voltage must
be equal to the battery voltage.
1
Do a check the pink wire and connectors between J1 (pin 4) and
the fuel valve.
2
Do a check the black wire and connectors between J1 (pin 6) and
the engine.
1
Measure the resistance between the wire going to J3 (pin 1) and
the cable going to J3 (pin 4). With no operator in the seat, the re-
sistance must be low. When the operator in the seat, the resist-
ance must be high.
1
Do a check of the PTO switch.
