5. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and put protective
caps in all hydraulic openings.
6. Remove the 4 screws that hold the hydraulic oil
cooler.
7. Remove the hydraulic oil cooler.
8. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.5.9 To do a check of the hydraulic thermostat
unit
1. Remove the right footrest plate. Refer to
the covers on page 23 .
2. Remove the thermostat sensor from the hydraulic
hose.
3. Turn the ignition switch to position 1.

4. Heat up the thermostat sensor with a hot air gun.
5. Replace the thermostat if the hydraulic oil cooler
does not start when the thermostat sensor is at the
temperature of 70ºC.
9.5.10 To replace the hydraulic thermostat unit
1. Remove the side cover of the control panel. Refer to
To remove the covers on page 23 .
2. Disconnect the thermostat connector from the circuit
board.
3. Disconnect the connector of the hydraulic oil cooler.

5. Remove the thermostat sensor from the hydraulic
hose.
