volume with each mechanical stroke,
e.g. because the tube is blocked.
Patient "fights" against the mechanical
strokes in pressure-controlled ventilation,
so that the set inspiratory pressure volume
is achieved with only a very small volume.
Due to pressure limit or time limit, the set
tidal volume V has not been applied.

Remedy
Make sure pressure is less than 6 bar.
Check hose system and expiration valve.
Check bacterial filter. Replace if
necessary.
Call DrägerService.

Replace expiration valve, page 92, then
clean and dry.
Call DrägerService.
Confirm standby with »Alarm Reset« key.
Switch off humidifier.
