Fitting components
Always use properly prepared parts, see "Care", page 90.
Fitting the expiration valve
Push the expiration valve block firmly into the mounting.
Check that it is properly secured by gently pulling the port.
Fitting the flow sensor
1 Push the socket to the left as far as it will go.
2 Insert the flow sensor – with the probe facing towards the
ventilator – into the mounting and push it into the socket as
far as it will go.
Then:
3 Push flow sensor to the right as far as it will go into the
rubber lip of the expiration valve.
