Ensure that the contactors in the cubicle are suppressed, either with R-C
suppressors for AC contactors or 'flywheel' diodes for DC contactors fitted to
the coils. Varistor suppressors are also effective. This is important when the
contactors are controlled from the AFE200 relay.
Use screened or armored cables for the U-V-W connections and ground the
screen at both ends using the cable clamps
Use the recommended EMI filters, which are listed in section 11.3 of this
manual (conformity with EN61800-3, class C3 with 50 metres of motor cable
with a single inverter supplied by the AFE200).
Use shielded cables in motors to ensure the correct operation of the EMI filter.
