8.2 Replacing sealing ring

1. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before changing the sealing ring.
4. If necessary, clean the groove for the sealing ring by wiping with a dry cloth. You may
also moisten the cloth slightly with a little clean water.
5. Carefully press the new sealing ring into the groove in the connecting union. Never use
a tool for this purpose.

Ensure proper disposal of the unit by consulting an authorized and certified scrap recovery
firm.

authorities.

4. Unscrew the filter screw to the left, but do not screw it
right out yet.
5. To prevent any dirt from falling into the pressure reduc-
er, hold it so that the connector faces down. In this po-
sition, unscrew the filter screw completely.
6. Clean the Allen key carefully with washing-up liquid,
rinse it well with plenty of clean water and dry it thor-
oughly.
7. Insert the new filter screw WM 30905 with the aid of
the Allen key. Lightly tighten the filter screw by turning
to the right.
2. Take a small screwdriver and clean it thoroughly with
washing-up liquid. Then rinse it with plenty of clean
water and dry the screwdriver thoroughly.
The screwdriver must be clean and free from oil and
grease to rule out any risk of explosion.
3. Carefully lift out the sealing ring with the cleaned
screwdriver.
Caution!
Take care not to damage the groove in which the seal-
ing ring is seated.
