6.5.9

Scale interval for weighing range 1, 2, 3 [scaleIntervalWeighingRange]

Can be defined in accordance with the standard EN 45501 (0.0001 to 50). It defines the
smallest indicated weight change and conforms to the accuracy of the overall system for scales
requiring official calibration.
6.5.10

Initial zero-setting [initialZeroSetting]

The scales can automatically be set to zero when the supply voltage is switched on (in legal
trade operation, this is at the end of the startup waiting time). A weight of ±10% of the maximum
measuring range can be set to zero by power-on for legal trade scales.
Note
If the scales are not being used in legal trade operation (no OIML restrictions), fully loaded
scales can also be set to zero once this function is enabled. The function can, however, be
limited by setting a maximum and minimum weight for zero-setting. See the section on
maximum and minimum weights for zero setting by power-on.
6.5.11

Initial zero-setting if tared [initialZeroSettingIfTared]

Defines whether initial zeroing in tared state of the scales is to be carried out.
6.5.12

Automatic zero tracking device [automaticZeroTracking]

If necessary, the scales can be set semi-automatically to zero by the user by means of the
"Zeroing" command.
The automatic adjustment sets the scale to zero without a further command in the event of slow
zero drifting. Slow drift is assumed if the OIML R76 criteria for this are met.
Note
If the scales are not being used in legal trade operation (no OIML restrictions) and this function
is enabled, the scales may eventually read zero after a slow drift even if they are fully loaded.
The function can, however, be limited by setting a maximum and minimum weight for zeroing.
6.5.13

Tare device [subtractiveAdditiveTare]

Defines whether the scales work with additive or subtractive tare device.
