USE OF THE
ATTACHMENT

PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Before putting the attachment into operation, proceed as follows:
Check all the safety systems;
Check the protections and signage.
Before putting the attachment in operation, it is necessary to perform a series of checks and controls to
prevent errors or accidents while putting it in operation.
Check that the attachment has not been damaged during mounting;
Carefully check the integrity of the hydraulic hoses, valves and various components;
Check that all moving parts are moving freely, including any rotation;
Check that the hydraulic connections are tight to prevent dangerous leaks.
ATTENTION!
Carefully perform a visual inspection of the entire attachment and make sure that there are no objects or
persons obstructing its normal operation or objects inadvertently left on it.

OPERATING CYCLE

Bring the operating machine into the work area.
Make sure that no one is in the range of action of the operating machine or, in any case, in the danger
area.
Bring the attachment to the piece to be cut, check the good positioning of the piece in the attachment (if
necessary, moving the excavator arm or rotating to optimize the grip) and activate the claw close control
to shear it.
During the operation, make sure that the force is sufficient to complete the cut; otherwise, release the
piece by opening the jaw and close again, if necessary, acting on the material to be sheared from a
different position.
Once cutting is completed, move the operating machine away from the work area, making sure that there
are no unstable parts or pieces in positions that are potentially dangerous for the operators who will follow
the operations of unloading and/or loading material.
STOP
The attachment is stopped by simply leaving the controls of the relative hydraulic distributors in their rest
positions.
Under normal conditions, if the controls are not activated, the attachment does not perform any movements.
30

simple duties, i.e., operating the machine through the use of the buttons on the
pushbutton pad and loading and unloading the materials used during production with
the protections installed and active; not qualified to use the machine in jog mode.
