TRANSPORT AND HANDLING

The attachment can be shipped on wood beams or pallet or in a crate, depending on the destination and
the customer's request.
Lifting packed attachment with cables and bridge crane or with forklift truck
The unloading, lifting and handling of the attachment must be directed by personnel qualified to drive lifting
equipment.
Before beginning operations, identify and check the entire handling area of the attachment, including that of
placing it on the transport vehicle and that of installing it on the machine, so as to note any hazardous points.
It is forbidden to climb on the attachment or pause and/or pass under it during handling.
Unauthorized persons are forbidden to enter the transport and handling area.
All operators must keep at a safe distance to avoid being hit if the attachment or one of its parts should fall.
The lifting and transport vehicle must be adequate to the weight to be lifted.
When using lifting cables, check that they are certified and have a label showing the manufacturer's
information and capacity. Check for damage, broken wires and signs of wear.

The same care must be taken if using chains.
When a bridge crane or mobile crane are used for lifting, prepare them so as to have a length and capacity
adequate to the weight to be supported.
Perform the set-up by moving the lifting vehicle for short distances until the condition of optimum stability is
reached. Slowly lift and handle with the maximum care to avoid oscillations.

Driver of lifting and handling equipment: an operator qualified to use vehicles to lift and
handle materials and machinery (scrupulously following the manufacturer's instructions)
in observance of current law in the country of use of the machinery.
