Push the DISPLAY switch.
The display is turned off.

To restore the original settings
The initial factory settings can be restored at
times when, for instance, settings have been
performed incorrectly or as a trial.
For details, see "Initializing" on page E4-6.

※ (NOTE): For details on how to turn on the power of the
lens, refer to the camera's Operation Manual.
Checkpoint: The IND screen is the first to appear.
Details of how to set the setting items are given on page 3-2
and following.
Checkpoint: While the IND screen is displayed, it will not turn
off automatically no matter how much time elapses. It
can be turned off by pushing the DISPLAY switch. If
two or more minutes are allowed to elapse without
operating any of the function keys while a screen other
than the IND screen is displayed, the IND screen will
appear or the screen concerned will turn off automati-
cally (Auto OFF). See "Default screen" on page 4-56.
※ (NOTE): When a screen display is turned off by Auto OFF
or when it has been turned off by pushing the
DISPLAY switch, the information displayed on
the screen is stored in the memory before the
screen is turned off.
※ (NOTE): In the case of the power of the lens turned off
while the display is shown, the changes made to
the setting may not be stored in the memory.
