Lock mode setting

The lock mode can be set for specific functions to ensure that the functions which have been locked will not be easily
changed. It cannot be set differently for individual users, and once it has been set, it applies to all users.
※ (NOTE): Concerning the password
This model does not have a special password setting screen. The password which is established
every time a lock operation is performed is the password which is needed to unlock the function.
This means that you should make a note of each password. If you have forgotten the password,
contact Canon or one of its distributors. Anything from blanks to a maximum of 8 digits can be
input as the password.
