4-3-4. PSC Cluster PCU

Refer to "4-2-6. Installing the PCU" for details.
Preparation
1. Prepare an RS-232C crossover cable to connect the Primary and Secondary PC Servers.
2. Ask the User LAN administrator about three IP addresses on the User LAN side and each host name.
(1) Primary User IP address and hostname (with a domain name)
To be set for eth1 of the Primary PC Server.
Explained here as "192.168.20.3 petahost.petadomain".
(2) Secondary User IP address and hostname (with a domain name)
To be set for eth1 of the Secondary PC Server.
Explained here as "192.168.20.5 petahost2.petadomain".
(3) API User IP Address and hostname (with a domain name)
API User IP Address is an IP address that is taken over from the Primary PC Server to the
Secondary. Therefore, enter the same IP address for the Primary and Secondary PC Servers.
To be set for each eth1 as Alias IP when operating as hot side.
Explained here as "192.168.20.100 petaapi.petadomain".
Also ask the User LAN administrator about the default Gateway IP address on the User LAN
side and the DNS Server IP address, if necessary.
Explained here as "default gateware 192.168.20.254".
(4) Application IP Address
Enter the IP address of the host computer on which the application is running. (The same IP
address for the Primary and Secondary PC Servers.)
3. Do not connect the network cable and the RS-232C cable on the Secondary side before the setup is
completed.
Primary PSC2 Setup
1. Perform settings for the Primary PSC2.
(1) Perform Network setting.
Click [GNOME Menu] (feet shaped icon).
Click [System Setting] -> [open Network setting window] to open the Network setting window.
Change the Network setting, including IP address and hostname, for the Primary PC Server.
*1 Set external IP addresses and hostnames in accordance with the User LAN.
Exemplified here as "192.168.20.3 petahost.petadomain, defaultroute: 192.168.20.254".
(a) Click the "host" tag to add to "hosts".

(b) Click the "device" tag to change the IP address of eth0 and eth1.
Change the IP address of eth1 to "192.168.20.3".
Change defaultroute to "192.168.20.254".
(c) Click the "DNS" tag to change the hostname.
Change the hostname to "petahost".
Set the Domain name as "petadomain".
Perform DNS Server settings, if necessary.
(d) Click [Apply] to fix the settings.
(e) Reboot
