ADJUSTMENTS

The adjustments described below are to be carried out when deemed necessary by the operator due to malfunctioning
or after maintenance has been performed, parts replaced, etc.. Carefully observe all the safety precautions when
carrying out these operations

The operations are to be carried out with the machine off and following all the safety precautions dealt with at the
beginning of the manual.
In particular, be extremely careful and wear heavy duty gloves when symbols signaling danger of being burnt are
provided.
Always shut off the power supply to the machine before accessing the electric cabinet, electric boxes and wherever
danger of electrocution signs are posted.

CAP INFEED CHANNEL

(references in figures 7.1/A and 7.1/B)
REGULATING THE AIR PRESSURE IN THE PNEUMATIC CYLINDER

This operation must be performed with the machine running therefore take all the required safety precautions.
- Read the pressure given on the gauge (10) that controls solenoid valve YV3 (12) which stops incoming caps. The
value given in paragraph 2.3.1, SPECIFICATIONS should be read.
- To adjust the pressure use the knob (11), if required.
REPLACING THE INFEED CHANNEL TO CHANGE THE PRODUCT SIZE
When caps that have different dimensions have to be handled, the entire infeed channel needs to be replaced:
- Disconnect the cylinder unit (4) by detaching the air supply lines
- Disconnect the fiber optic (9) of the photocell (6)
- Take off the photocell (6) by removing the screws (8)
- Remove the screws (7)
- Install the new channel by carrying out the operations in reverse
- Reconnect the cylinder's (4) air supply lines and put the photocell (6) back in.
