SWITCHBOARD

(References in figures 6.1 and 6.1.1)
The switchboard includes a power section that contains all the parts used to drive the utilities (contactors, relays, etc.)
and a logic section with the devices that process the signals transmitted from the keyboard and controls located on the
machine.
A control keyboard, found on the logic section, is used by the operator to run and monitor the machine. A programmable
logic controller is used and the work-cycle can be set from the keyboard. Fault messages and the most significant stages
of the work-cycle are shown on the display.

Button SB31, which enables operation, must be pressed whenever the start button is pressed.
All the information concerning use of the switchboard is given in the Instructions B Manual,
Use of the Microprocessor Based Control System.

The top display (3) is provided in a number of versions, depending on the type of caps handled.
