RISKS PRESENT IN THE PRODUCT HANDLING SYSTEM
WARNING!
E0004P
The product handling system exposes the operators to the following risks, as they may accidentally come into
contact with moving parts:
hands and/or limbs may be crushed, caught and dragged and cut off.
DURING OPERATION
The handling system inside the machine presents no risks for the operators as it is fully protected by interlocked guards.
The machine immediately stops if one of these guards is opened while the machine is running.
DURING MAINTENANCE
The guards have to be opened, taking all the precautions indicated in the maintenance chapter, when maintenance
is carried out. The guards must be closed as soon as maintenance has been completed.
ADDITIONAL RISKS
Precautions to be taken.
- When turning the drums in manual mode make sure your hands are out of the way of moving parts.
- Always make sure that other persons (operators - maintenance men) do not have their hands near or in the area of
moving parts (manual operation) or are inspecting parts that can be operated in manual mode.
Failure to observe these precautions may cause your hands and/or limbs to be crushed, caught and dragged and even
cut off.
The risk of being crushed is indicated by signs placed inside the guards in the machine.
