The confirmation screen offers the option of restarting the computer now or later.
For the settings to take effect, the computer must be restarted. Click F
restart the computer.
7.7 Realtek HD Audio Driver (ALC883) Installation
To install the Realtek High Definition (HD) Audio driver, please follow the steps below.
7.7.1 BIOS Setup
Step 1:
Enter the BIOS setup. To do this, reboot the system and press D
Step 2:
Go to the Southbridge Configuration menu. Set the Audio Controller option to
[Azalia].
Step 3:
Press F10 to save the changes and exit the BIOS setup. The system reboots.
7.7.2 Driver Installation
The Realtek HD Audio Driver (ALC883) installation is similar to the Realtek AC`97 Audio
Driver (ALC665) installation. Refer to Section 7.6.2 for installation details.
