1. Repeat steps 1 through 9 in the firmware upgrade process, see
page 30.
2. If the model name, SN, and firmware version are not detected automatically, click Recovery
Mode.
3. Click next.
The firmware upgrade procedure runs automatically and takes two hours to complete the
firmware upgrade.
4. When the firmware upgrade is complete, verify the firmware version by entering the Service
mode and select Projector Info.
5. Click Exit.

Recovering when the LAN firmware upgrade fails

• If the firmware recovery did not work, complete the following steps to recover the local
i
• After the upgrade has finished, remove the power cord.
1. Connect AC power and turn the power switch to the On.
2. Press the UP key, followed by the POWER key.
3. When the RJ45's LED flashes twice, power on the projector by pressing the power button.
4. Connect the projector with a Mini USB cable to the PC.
5. Download the latest firmware program file from website, unzip the firmware file and save it to
the desktop.
a. Double click the firmware folder.
b. Choose the upgrade file based on the capability of the PC.
64-bit system execute FlashUpgrader_x64.exe
32-bit system execute FlashUpgrader_x32.exe
6. To execute the FlashUpgrader setup, click FlashUpgrader.exe.
7. Choose USB 2.0.
8. To start the firmware upgrade, click Flash.
The upgrade takes about eight minutes.
The screen appears frozen during this time. Do not force shut down.
Programming is completed once the LAN firmware upgrade finished successfully.
9. After the upgrade has finished, remove the power cord.
