Before mounting the transmitter and receiver, ensure that air is supplied to the air purge unit. If this precaution is not
observed, then the air purge and the optical surfaces may be severely contaminated.

Transmitter & Receiver Units
The transmitter and receiver attach to the rear face of the air purges with a
flexible gasket fitted between them, using the M6 x 20 hexagon head screws
provided (see Figure 9). A locating dowel ensures that the units can only be
attached to the air purge in one position - make sure this locates correctly.
WARNING!!!
Before mounting the air purges, ensure that air is supplied to the air purge unit.
If this precaution is not observed, then the air purge and the optical surfaces may
be severely contaminated.
