+V and –V
These LEDs should be ON indicating that the
power supplies within the unit are functioning
correctly.
+V and –V
These LEDs should be ON indicating that the
power supplies within the unit are functioning
correctly.
+12V
This LED should be ON indicating that the power
supply unit is functioning correctly. This LED will
extinguish should the supply voltage drop from 12
to 11V.
If further checks on instrument operation are required, there are various test
points within the instrument. Many of these are simple DC voltages and so may
be checked using a voltmeter set to DC volts, otherwise may be investigated
using an oscilloscope :
