5-3. Inspection of Parts (Outdoor Unit)

(1) Electronic control valve (MOV1)
● STM/STM1: Measure the voltage between plug pin 5 and pins 1 through 4 at the CN-STM/CN-STM1 connector
(white)
Set the tester to the 12 V range; if the value displayed is approximately 4 V, then the voltage is normal.)
If the voltage is normal, measure the resistance between connector pin 5 and pins 1 through 4.
Resistance between pin 5 and pins 1 through 4 should be approximately 46 Ω for all. (If the result is 0 Ω or,
then replace the coil.)
