The bicycle does not have a separate emergency stop
or emergency shut-off button. The drive system can be
stopped in case of emergency by removing the display.
The motor switches off automatically as soon as the
rider no longer pedals, the temperature is outside the
permitted range, there is an overload or the shut-off
speed of 25 km/h has been reached.
A push assist system can be activated. The speed
depends on the selected gear. The push assist system
continues to drive the bicycle at a slow speed as long
as the rider presses the push assist button on the
handlebars. The speed can be a maximum of 6 km/h in
this case. The drive stops when the plus button is
released.

Battery

The lithium ion battery has an internal electronic
protection circuit. It is matched to the charger and the
bicycle. The battery temperature is monitored at all
times. The battery is safeguarded against deep
discharge, overcharging, overheating and short
circuit. In case of a risk the battery is switched off
automatically by a protective circuit. If the electric
drive system is not used for about 10 minutes (e.g. the
bicycle is stationary) and no button has been pressed
on the display or the control panel, the electric drive
system and the battery are automatically switched off
to save energy.
The service life of the battery can be extended if it is
well cared for and, above all, stored at the correct
temperatures. Even if the battery is cared for properly,
the charge status of the battery reduces as it ages. If
