Using derailleur gears

Down shifter (1) and up shifter (2) on the left (I) and right (II) shift
 Select the appropriate gear with the shifter.
 The gear shift switches the gear.
 The shifter returns to its original position.
 Clean the rear derailleur if the gear change blocks.
