Press START to start the speed test. It measures download and upload
channel speed. It also gets some data from the service provider.

section).
VoIP: It opens TEST VoIP function (see next section).
IPTV: It opens IPTV function (see next section).

External CM / Upstream Spectrum (cable)

Description
►
The External CM / Upstream Spectrum function extracts a sample of the
upstream signal and displays its spectrum on the screen. Connect the
CABLEMODEM to the "EXT CM" input and the cable from the CMTS to the "RF"
input. The equipment works as a bypass and the display shows the transmission
signal (bursts) from the CABLEMODEM to the CMTS. It is recommended to
enable the peak detector to view bursts better.
Operation
►
1 Connect signal to input connector:
Cable: universal connector for F/F or F/BNC adapter.
External CableModem: universal connector for F/F or F/BNC adapter
(EXT CM).
External CableModem: Ethernet (ETH) connector.
2 Access home screen by pressing the HOME key
3 Select EXT. CM / UPSTREAM function.
4 Then on screen appears the EXTERNAL CM / UPSTREAM SPECTRUM function.
5 Press HOME
