Chassis Bolt And Nut - Suzuki DL1000 Service Manual

CHASSIS BOLT AND NUT

Tighten initially at 1 000 km (600 miles, 1 month) and
every 6 000 km (4 000 miles, 6 months) thereafter.
Check that all chassis bolts and nuts are tightened to their specified torque. (Refer to page 2-28 for the loca-
tions of the following nuts and bolts on the motorcycle.)
1 Steering stem head nut
2 Steering stem locknut
3 Front fork upper clamp bolt
4 Front fork lower clamp bolt
5 Front axle
6 Front axle pinch bolt
7 Handlebar holder bolt
8 Handlebar holder set nut
9 Front brake master cylinder mounting bolt
0 Front brake caliper mounting bolt
A Brake hose union bolt
B Clutch master cylinder mounting bolt
C Clutch hose union bolt
D Air bleeder valve
E Brake disc bolt (Front & Rear)
F Rear brake caliper mounting bolt
G Rear brake master cylinder mounting bolt
H Rear brake master cylinder rod locknut
I Front footrest bracket mounting bolt
J Swingarm pivot nut
K Swingarm pivot shaft locknut
L Rear shock absorber mounting nut
(Upper & Lower)
M Cusion lever mounting nut
N Cusion lever rod mounting nut
O Rear axle nut
P Seat rail bolt
