Upon starting the vehicle, after the initial
instrument panel check, the ABS warning
light flashes until a speed of 3.1 mph (5
kph) is exceeded and then it switches off
or continues to flash even after exceed-
ing the speed of 3.1 mph (5 kph).

If the ABS warning light continues flash-
ing or is permanently on, a failure has
been detected and the ABS has been au-
tomatically deactivated.
In this case, perform the following oper-
ations:
- stop the vehicle;
- key OFF-ON;
- exceed a speed of 3.1 mph (5 kph): the
ABS warning light will turn off;
- ABS is functional.
If the ABS deactivated signal persists:

Au démarrage du véhicule, après le con-
trôle initial du tableau de bord, le voyant
ABS clignote jusqu'à dépasser une vites-
se de 5 km/h (3.1 mph), puis le voyant
s'éteint ou continue de clignoter même
après avoir dépassé une vitesse de 5 km/
h (3.1 mph).
Si le voyant ABS continue à clignoter ou
s'il reste allumé fixe, cela signifie que le
système a détecté un mauvais fonction-
nement et que l'ABS a été automatique-
ment désactivé.
Dans ce cas-là, réaliser les opérations
suivantes :
- Arrêter le véhicule.
- Clé OFF-ON.
- Dépasser la vitesse de 5 km/h (3,1
mph) : le voyant ABS doit s'éteindre.
- L'ABS fonctionne correctement.
Si l'indication d'ABS désactivé persiste :
