2-1 Checking the IP Address on CDX
Series Products
CDX Series products are set to DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) by default, meaning the IP
address is obtained automatically when the network is configured.
To learn the IP address, contact your network administrator.
The IP address can also be checked/configured using the dedicated tool (CDX Seeker).
2-1-1 Using CDX Seeker
CDX Seeker is a dedicated tool for searching for CDX Series products within a network and verifying/
configuring the IP address settings of any products found. Access the Optex FA website to download the
software for free.

Caution
When first launching CDX Seeker, the "Security Alert" may be displayed.
To use the software, click "Allow access."
MEMO
CDX Seeker will search for CDX Series products physically connected to the same network segment.
