2-6-8 Offset
Adds to (or subtracts from) the value obtained through multiplication by the span value.
When offset input is received, the addition or subtraction is performed internally so that the measured value
becomes the value set here.
• Input range:
–2000.000000 to +2000.000000 [Unit: mm]
• Default value: 0.000000
MEMO
With the "CH1 to CH4 span/offset settings" under the list of setting items, you can use a workpiece that you actually
know the dimensions of in order to set the span/offset.
Enter two known dimension and movement distance points into Idea. A/B. Then, click "Current" to acquire the measured
values at the positions, and then use "Set" to apply the numerical values.
2-6-9 Span teaching
The span value can be set based on the actual measured value.
To determine the span value, perform teaching using an actual workpiece with known dimensions.
Use this function to correct errors and other factors caused by refraction of a transparent object such as
glass with a known thickness.
Enter the actual dimension in the input area, and press "Teaching" during measurement to set the span value.
• Input range:
‒2000.000000 to +2000.000000 [Unit: mm]
• Default value: 0.000000
