You may need to install the driver again when connecting the device to another port.

When a USB device is connected, sleep or hibernation may not function normally. If the computer does not start up normally, remove

the USB device and restart the computer.
When the USB device is removed and then inserted while the computer is on,

may not be correctly recognized. In this case, remove and connect the device again, or restart the computer.
When a USB device is connected, power consumption increases. Remove the USB device when it is not in use, especially when oper-
n
ating by battery power.
If the computer enters sleep while a USB keyboard or mouse is connected, touching the USB keyboard keys or mouse will resume the
n
computer.

Charging USB Devices

The computer comes with a USB port to provide efficient charging to smart phones or portable devices that can use USB port charging.
This computer's USB 3.1 (Type-A) port equipped with the continuous power supply function and USB 3.1 (Type-C) port allow USB devices to be charged
efficiently even if the computer is turned off or in the sleep/hibernation state.
The high speed charging is supported at the following situation.
The computer is turned on; When the computer is turned off ; in sleep/hibernation mode

1. Add or remove a check mark to [Enable Always on Charging].
N O T E
Charging of some USB devices may not be possible. Therefore, check the device before charging it.

Charging time varies depending on the USB device.
n
Connect the USB device directly to the USB port. If connection is via a USB hub, charging may not be possible.
n
For devices which do not require charging, connect them to other ports.
n
If the computer is not connected to the AC adaptor, its battery power will be consumed quickly.
n
Do not insert any foreign object in the USB port.
n
When the computer resumes from sleep or hibernation, it may not be able to detect the USB device. If this happens, removing and then
n
reconnecting the USB device may enable the computer to detect the device.
USB charging is not performed if you press the power switch for more than 4 seconds to turn off the power, or if you reconnect the AC
n
adaptor and battery after removing them in power-off state.
With USB charging during power-off enabled, if a USB keyboard or USB mouse is connected to the port allowing USB quick charging,
n
then they cannot be used to resume the computer from sleep.
For USB devices which do not require charging, connect them to other ports.
If charging is done when the computer is powered by battery, charging automatically stops when the battery level drops below 10 %.
